HI-TEK was founded in 1980 as a contract machining company in a seven thousand square foot facility in Mason, Ohio.  The company began operations by providing Ram EDM services for the Aerospace industry in which they created small holes in assorted components including jet engine parts using the EDM process (Electrical Discharge Machining).

Now,more than thirty years later, HI-TEK has expanded its facilities multiple times to nearly one hundred thousand square feet of space, and has expanded its operations and services to the power generation, nuclear, medical, and electronic industries, as well as for the Aerospace industry.

HI-TEK’s full service capabilities have grown to include Plunge, Wire, and Small Hole EDM, LASER, CNC Milling and Turning, CNC Creep Feed and CBN Grinding, CNC Optical Inspection, Metallography, and nondestructive component testing, including all of the expected ancillary operations needed to be “World Class”.

HI-TEK has earned recognition as an industry leader, and maintains assorted certifications such as ISO, NADCAP, Aerospace, Six Sigma, and others.  HI-TEK has the capability to provide quality products and services to satisfy whatever their customers need.  HI-TEK looks forward to meeting new challenges, finding new opportunities for growth, and continued leadership in community service and stewardship.
