Qualifications, Education, and Experience
High School diploma or GED required
Previous CNC experience required
Ability to perform high school level math
Must be a United States Citizen, or a US permanent Resident
Physical Requirements
Lift, push and/or pull 35 pounds
Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift
Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping in order to move and set tools, equipment and material.
Perform under AS9100 standards
Essential Duties:
Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications
Operates 5-axis CBN grinders
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary
Selects, aligns, and secures fixtures, tooling, and workpieces on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
Analyze, interpret CMM reports, and properly offset machine dimensions to meet customer specifications
Utilizes knowledge of linear/rotary axes and G and M codes
Documents actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system
Capable of operating multiple machines, when assigned
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.
