AS 9100D Certification Including ISO 9001:2015

Certifications

From jumbo jets flying across the sky to rockets orbiting the atmosphere, did you ever wonder about how they are built and who makes them?  The aerospace CNC machining industry manufactures the components, parts, and assemblies that make it possible for those "flying machines" to take flight.

However, engineering such high tech machines leaves zero room for error.  For that reason, aerospace components must be absolutely accurate in their design, manufacture, and creation.   We specialize in a wide range of aerospace applications and precision aerospace machining methods, including Fast Hole EDM, Wire EDM, Traditional EDM in addition to more conventional methods, such as computer-automated Milling and Grinding techniques.

At Hi-Tek Manufacturing, we use advanced techniques to provide our clients with precision machining services. We only use premium-grade materials and metals like titanium and stainless steel. Our team produces flawless aerospace parts that go into building some of the most complex machines on the market.

We're proud to say that we've obtained our ISO 9001:2015 certification, a prestigious honor that speaks to our superior workmanship and dedication to our craft. Attaining our ISO 9001:2015 certification has allowed us to provide our clients and OEMs with a wide range of services and earned us continued success. Some of our services include airfoil and turbine blade machining, CNC machining techniques, electrode manufacturing, and many more.

Once we've completed a project, we perform a thorough inspection to make sure it meets the clients' specifications and project requirements. And of course, all our clients receive on-time delivery of our machined parts assemblies.

Creep Resistence

Using nickel superalloys for aerospace and aviation applications provides advantages you won’t get with other alloy metals. Nickel combined with certain metals can create a high-temperature alloy with numerous beneficial properties, like resisting creep and other extreme conditions while offering reliable performance.

Creep is the tendency for individual components within larger systems to move and change position under the wear-and-tear from daily use and constant high pressures. Nickel alloys have extraordinary creep resistance and can also withstand extreme conditions or temperatures.

High Strength and Corrosion Resistance

Nickel alloys also have naturally high strength, which means they can withstand very intense pressure and situations due to the high oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance they possess. This high resistance makes virtually every nickel alloy well-suited for high-pressure operations where strength and durability are of the utmost importance.

Nickel Alloys are an Integral Part of Aerospace Industries and Applications

It's plain to see how important a nickel-based, high-temperature alloy can be for applications in the aviation, aerospace, and military industries. The beneficial properties of alloys also make them perfectly suited for creating air, land, and marine-based engine parts, gas turbines, and other applications.

At Hi-Tek Manufacturing, we know the importance of using nickel alloys for aerospace applications. Our fully-equipped, state-of-the-art machine shop produces precision CNC-machined components and assemblies for aviation, marine, and land-based applications. We also manufacture engine parts, gas turbines, and a high amount of nickel aerospace alloys.

Precision CNC Components

A cutting-edge CNC machine shop must have few limits and extremely tight tolerances in this challenging industry.

Here at Hi-Tek Manufacturing, our precision manufacturing techniques provide significant advantages. We can create parts that will last through the test of time and high-pressure conditions.

Continuous Improvement

Hi-Tek Manufacturing uses various tools and methods to provide an ongoing effort to improve its products and processes. One such method used to provide Continuous Improvement is centered on the DMAIC process.

Process Capability Measurement

As the Hi-Tek quality team populates customer requirements, process capability is the assurance of the repeatability of each manufacturing operation.

Laser Ablation

The use of laser ablation technology allows us to precisely clear the thermal coating, a much more precise process than _____ preventing us from having to ship the part to another facility mid-process

Turbine Root Form Grinding

Turbine root form grinding improves the surface integrity of the jet engine turbine blades by applying less residual stress. A reduction in stress results in extended fatigue life, allowing ground turbine parts to run faster and for longer periods than milled or broached products.

Metallurgical Lab

Hi-Tek has a met lab staffed with engineers that has decades of experience. Tests that are typically performed in the lab include failure testing, corrosion testing, chemical analysis, weld testing, and metallography

Sinker EDM

The sinker EDM process is largely used to create complex cavity shapes in tool and die applications. Such applications include metal stamping dies and plastic injection molds

Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding

Many aerospace components produced by Hi-Tek require TIG welding. Multiple TIG welding stations are maintained and staffed by fully trained and certified welders using industrial certified equipment. In addition to Nadcap certification, Hi-Tek's TIG welding and weld repair if fully certified/approved by all of its aerospace prime customers.

Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI)

Hi-Tek maintains two full time Level III FPI inspectors that operate state-of-the-art equipment to ensure quality and compliance to specifications, drawings, and models

Fast Hole EDM

Electrical discharge machining, or EDM, is a reductive process that eliminates the need for a traditional tool head and all of the problems that come with it.

Vertical Cylindrical Grinding

HI-Tek has Cylindrical Grinding capabilities for parts as tall as 42", outside diameters up to 42".  The X-Axis and Y-Axis have 36"x 36" travel with linear glass scales in all axes. The T-slot table is 36" in diameter, and the fully enclosed machine uses a single point dresser on the OD/ID grinding spindle.

Creep Feed Grinding

Our 10-continuous dress creep feed grinding machines utilized open structured wheels and robust coolant delivery systems to accurately and effectively remove super alloy material across complicated geometries found on fir tree / dovetail shapes as well as other surfaces.

CNC Milling

Hi-Tek has many 3 & 4 Axis Vertical Milling machines and 5-Axis Vertical & Horizontal Milling machines
