Hi-Tek has many 5-Axis CBN Grinders for generating radial features on highly complex nickel / cobalt turbine components. Parts as large as 36" x 36" x 36" can be processed on these grinders.  Hi-Tek's central coolant systems provide ultra-filtered, temperature controlled grinding oil at constant delivery pressure for ultimate process performance.  Segmented nozzles, shrouds, vanes, fairings, panels, preswirlers, etc., are routinely produced to meet the exacting standards of aviation and power generation turbine engine manufacturers.

Our 10-continuous dress creep feed grinding machines utilized open structured wheels and robust coolant delivery systems to accurately and effectively remove super alloy material across complicated geometries found on fir tree / dovetail shapes as well as other surfaces.

Hi-Tek's central coolant systems provide ultra-filtered, temperature controlled coolant for ultimate process performance delivered to each grinding machine at constant pressure.

Almost all of the hot gas path components in the turbine that require cooling holes will also require some form of grinding.   Hi-Tek is committed to being the made-complete provider of these parts, which is why we have invested in grinding technology and several world class grinding processes.  

Our complete grinding capabilities include continuous dress creep feed grinding, as well as 5-Axis super abrasive grinding.   Hi-Tek currently utilizes a total of 8 BLOHM, MAGERLE and CAMPBELL dress creep feed grinders.  The Campbell model 750 radial grinder, and a total of 14 5-Axis Super-Abrasive Grinders.  Two of our 5-Axis super-abrasive grinding cells are capable of automatic wheel and nozzle changing, as well as milling, drilling, and part probing.  

Our central coolant filtration system provides for maximum uptime and provides capacity for future growth.
