Qualifications, Education, and Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Previous conventional machining experience preferred but not required
Have basic mechanical and mathmatical skills
Manufacturing experience a plus
Must be a United States Citizen, or a US Permanent Resident
Physical Requirements
Lift, push and/or pull up to 35 pounds occasionally
Stand at least 95% of scheduled shift
Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping to move and set tools, equipment, and materials
Perform under AS9100 standards
Essential Duties:
Analyzes and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications
Operates multiple EDM machines when required
Takes apart, cleans, and rebuilds tooling after completed production runs.
Utilizes knowledge of rotary/linear axes and G and M codes
Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using precision measuring tools such as pin gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, borescopes and more
Frequently adds and subtracts decimal values.
Documents actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system
Focuses and concentrates on the task at hand without being distracted.
Maintains continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
