
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous EDM experience preferred but not required
Have basic mechanical skills
Manufacturing experience a plus
Must be an United States Citizen, or an US Permanent Resident
Physical Requirements
Lift, push and/or pull 35 pounds
Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift
Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping in order to move and set tools, equipment and material.
Perform under AS9100 standards
Essential Duties:
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the operator is responsible for following all policies and procedures associated with the various parts and equipment that they may be required to run. In addition, operators are required to load/unload parts, inspect parts using various precision measuring tools, accept or reject parts, and communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing.
Essential Tasks:
Operation of traditional oil/or deep tank/or multi-axis cnc electrical discharge machining (EDM) aka Sinker EDM.
Set-up and operate machines, load/unload parts, and communicate changes and results (in writing and verbally) while adhering to a strict time schedule.
Demonstrate ability to read prints, inspect parts using precision gages.
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary (micrometers, calipers, gauges (pin, thread, indicator, height), optical comparators and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Good mechanical aptitude and some "shop math" is required.
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to international standards.
Maintains specifications; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains equipment by adhering to maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Exceptional time management and or organization skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
Demonstrates the ability to lift 35 pounds regularly.

CNC Machinist - 1st & 2nd shift
The CNC Machinist, reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, is responsible for adhering to all procedures related to the various parts and equipment they are trained and certified to operate. This role involves loading and unloading parts to meet production demands, inspecting parts with precision measuring tools, and either accepting or rejecting parts based on quality standards. The Machinist must effectively communicate any changes both verbally and in writing, set up machines, test the programming that controls the equipment, and troubleshoot any issues related to programming or machine operation.

Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift -Experience Required
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing mid to expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance tasks. Daily functions will be highly diversified and may include observing devices in operation to locate root cause of issue; dismantling machines to gain access to and remove defective parts; examine defective parts to detect cause, adjustment of functional parts of machines and control instruments; repair and/or replacement as needed, testing of machines to observe performance; and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems; reconditioning and repairing machining tools; maintain, troubleshoot, or repair equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the organization’s business goals and objectives.


Tool / Fixture Maker - 1st Shift
The Tool/Fixture Maker, reporting to the Toolroom Supervisor, specializes in the construction, repair, maintenance, and calibration of machine shop dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. This role involves operating various machine tools and performing highly skilled tasks, including laying out, fitting, and assembling parts. The position may require significant development work, along with precise fitting and adjustments. At times, the Tool/Fixture Maker may need to create tools when no design exists. This work is typically performed independently, without relying on others.
