
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
Education, Experience, and Competencies:
Must meet the ITAR definition of §120.15 U.S. person
High school diploma or GED required
Must have at a minimum a Level I FPI certificate with the ability to obtain Level II FPI certification
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a preference for the aerospace industry.
Experience with Repair and Overhaul FPI Inspection.
Experience with other NDT fields, i.e., X-Ray
Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color perception, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 20/20 vision (natural or corrected) is required, with the ability to pass the annual vision test as required.
Perform under AS9100 standards and NADCAP accreditation.
Lift, push, and/or pull up to thirty-five pounds (35lbs) regularly.
Operate overhead crane or other lifting equipment when necessary.
Stand at least 50% of the scheduled shift.
Walking or sitting as needed to perform job duties as assigned.
Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping to move and set tools, equipment, and materials.

Essential Duties and Tasks:
Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary, such as borescopes, rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
Perform and document the scheduled FPI test log and reports
Maintain, test, and replenish dipping solutions
Clean parts using chemical degreaser and parts wash machine
Prep parts using specialized material
Inspect parts using ultraviolet light
Report proper labor hours in the ERP system
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a working relationship with Quality and Engineering

NDT QA Inspector, FPI Level II, 2nd Shift
Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Level II NDT QA FPI Inspector is responsible for following all policies and procedures associated with the various parts and equipment they may be required to inspect. In addition, inspectors must load and unload parts, inspect parts using various precision measuring tools, accept or reject parts, and communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing.

Reporting to the shift supervisor, the 2nd Shift CNC Laser Operator is responsible for operating CNC laser equipment in a manufacturing environment to execute cutting, drilling, welding, and ablation processes.


Manufacturing Electrical Controls Engineer, On-Site
Reporting to the Manufacturing Technology Manager, the primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Electrical Controls Engineer is to analyze, control, modify, and execute programs for CNC machine controllers. You will also assist in defining the electronic control requirements for CNC equipment and will plan for programming controls to prevent data loss due to power outages. Additionally, this role includes implementing measures to protect data and interfacing with all machine and equipment upgrades or additions.
