Education, Experience, and Competencies:
High school diploma or GED required.
Must meet the ITAR definition of §120.15 U.S. person.
Experience required in at least one of the following: Calypso, OpenDMIS, or MCOSMOS software.
Experience required in at least one of the following: ZEISS, Mitutoyo, or WENZEL CMM machines.
Aerospace preferred 3+ years of experience using precision measuring tools in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
3+ years of experience in CMM operation.
Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Key Competencies:
Must be able to clearly communicate information to others verbally and in writing in English.
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
The ability to work efficiently with others or independently as required

Physical Requirements
Lift, push, and/or pull up to thirty-five (35) pounds regularly.
Operate overhead crane or other lifting equipment when necessary.
Stand or sit at least 95% of the scheduled shift.
Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, lifting, and grasping.
Frequently use gross and fine motor skills to manage various parts, tools, and tooling.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color perception, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 20/20 vision (natural or corrected) is required, along with the ability to pass the annual vision test as required.

Essential Duties and Tasks:
Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.
Clean, set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot CMM equipment before use.
Perform incoming part inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections.
Verify conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary.
Load, unload, and analyze measurement data to identify deviations from specifications.
Utilize knowledge of linear and rotary axes.
Operate the overhead crane when necessary.
Communicate effectively with engineering, management, and CNC operators to ensure that measurement processes and inspection methodologies are optimized.
Provide necessary data to machine operators to reduce the defect rate.
Inform management when concerns with quality issues arise.
Documents actions by updating control charts and travelers, as well as reporting labor in the ERP system.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.
Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE.

CMM Quality Technician (Inspector) - 2nd Shift, Includes a Generous Shift Differential!
The 2nd Shift CMM Technician, reporting to the Shift Supervisor, is responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures related to the various parts and equipment they are required to operate. This role involves inspecting production, prototype hardware, and manufacturing components using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Additionally, CMM Technicians are responsible for loading and unloading parts, inspecting them using various precision measuring tools, making decisions to accept or reject parts, and effectively communicating any changes both verbally and in writing.

Non-Destructive Testing NDT Quality Inspector - Fluorescent Penetrant FPI Level I Level II Level III - 2nd Shift with Generous Shift Differential
Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Non-Destructive Testing NDT Quality Inspector with a focus on Fluorescent Penetrant Level II or Level III inspections is responsible for conducting inspections on various components and materials to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. The NDT – FPI inspector will Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications while documenting and communicating inspection findings both verbally and in writing preparing detailed reports.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this role will operate all Wire EDM / WEDM machines in the shop, operates CAD and CAM software, and create 2 & 4 axis programs using appropriate software. Fixtures work piece as necessary to facilitate machining. Maintains a necessary inventory of perishables, such as guides wire, filters, etc. This role will also load/unload parts, inspect parts using various precision measuring tools, accept or reject parts, and communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing.


CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift - Includes a Generous Shift Differential!
The 2nd Shift CNC Machinist, reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, is responsible for adhering to all procedures related to the various parts and equipment they are trained and certified to operate. This role involves loading and unloading parts to meet production demands, inspecting parts with precision measuring tools, and either accepting or rejecting parts based on quality standards. The Machinist must effectively communicate any changes both verbally and in writing, set up machines, test the programming that controls the equipment, and troubleshoot any issues related to programming or machine operation.

Experienced Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing mid to expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance tasks. Daily functions will be highly diversified and may include observing devices in operation to locate root cause of issue; dismantling machines to gain access to and remove defective parts; examine defective parts to detect cause, adjustment of functional parts of machines and control instruments; repair and/or replacement as needed, testing of machines to observe performance; and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems; reconditioning and repairing machining tools; maintain, troubleshoot, or repair equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the organization’s business goals and objectives.
