
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Must have at a minimum Level I FPI certificate with the ability to obtain Level II FPI certification
Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, aerospace industry preferred
Experience with Repair and Overhaul FPI Inspection
Experience with other NDT fields i.e., X-Ray
Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) preferred
Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
Must be a United States Citizen, or a Lawful US Permanent Resident
Physical Requirements
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color perception, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 20/20 vision (corrected) required with ability to pass annual vision test as required
Lift, push and/or pull up to 35 pounds regularly
Operate overhead crane when necessary
Stand at least 50% of scheduled shift
Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping to move and set tools, equipment, and materials
Perform under AS9100 standards and NADCAP accreditation
Essential Duties:
Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications
Load/unload parts, inspect parts using various precision measuring tools, accept or reject parts, and communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing.
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary such as borescopes, rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
Perform, and Document scheduled FPI test log and reports
Maintain, Test, and Replenish dipping solutions
Clean parts using chemical degreaser and parts wash machine
Prep parts using specialized material
Inspect parts using ultraviolet light
Operates multiple Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
Analyzes and interprets current and previous inspection reports and communicates results to area subject matter experts
Loads, unloads, and analyzes parts in final or optical inspection to meet customer shipping dates
Utilizes knowledge of linear and rotary axes
Cleans and calibrates CMM equipment prior to use
Report proper labor hours in the ERP system
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications
Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a working relationship with Quality and Engineering
Dependability, integrity, cooperation and taking the initiative for responsibilities and challenges are critical

CNC Laser Operator - 2nd Shift, Includes a Generous Shift Differential!
Reporting to the shift supervisor, the 2nd Shift CNC Laser Operator is responsible for operating CNC laser equipment in a manufacturing environment to execute cutting, drilling, welding, and ablation processes.


Manufacturing Electrical Controls Engineer, On-Site
Reporting to the Manufacturing Technology Manager, the primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Electrical Controls Engineer is to analyze, control, modify, and execute programs for CNC machine controllers. You will also assist in defining the electronic control requirements for CNC equipment and will plan for programming controls to prevent data loss due to power outages. Additionally, this role includes implementing measures to protect data and interfacing with all machine and equipment upgrades or additions.
